This is the craziest thing! Whilst I was in Old Town, we visited the historic grave yard! The grave yard was originally a lot bigger than it is now! They moved all the walls in to make way for the road, sidewalk and shops! If you walk along the sidewalk you can spot these little brass "Grave Site" markers randomly on the sidewalks and even in the middle of the street! How unrested are those poor souls with all that tourist traffic above their heads! Didn't they see the movie, "Poltergeist"! :o)

So there is still a grave under that? I figured they moved the caskets and put the markers just to mark where they HAD been. No? Oh weird! How funky. Are those shoes really blue to match the tags? Or did you process that in? Very neat find!
Tooooo creepy!! But a perfect post. The scale with your shoe is a perfect way to convey just how little attention a grave is given -- literally and figuratively.
What an extraordinary find! Love the selective colouring and can imagine you leaping about trying to avoid the markers. Wouldn't like to be on that spot over Halloween!
