'I put some whiskey into my whiskey, I put some heartbreak into my heart'
Song by the Felice Brothers.
This turned into something totally different than I had in mind. Rachel gave me the challenge of product photography. I had this idea of a whiskey bottle and a flame of fire, because when you take a sip it's first like fire and then it slowly warms you. I had a shot of a flame and glowing coals and an empty whiskey bottle. When combining the two, it was much darker than I wanted and after fiddling around with it for a while, I just couldn't get it right and decided to let it go and add another layer. Of the busker and his guitar. Singing about the drink that controls his life.
@randystreat thanks Kathy, I was thinking that, but it didn't work as I had in my head. I think I need to shoot at daytime, 'cause couldn''t get the light right with the lamps we've got.
@bellshanghai2014 I took a picture of the whiskey bottle and then in PicMonkey added a photo I made of flames (in our woodburner) and a photo from our travels through France and Spain, of a busker and his guitar.
I think it is pretty intriguing, I really like it! It may not be typical product photography bit live your creative take on it! It seems we have been partnered for the get pushed challenge this week. It has been raining a lot here so would love for you to have a creative take on 'umbrella' x
