Having a go at the technique challenge Scanography. At home we have a scanner/copier/printer in one. My first idea, taking a biro apart and showing the individual parts, didn't really work. I wanted more depth, but how I thought?! I put the shells under the plate and a piece of textile on top with folds. Not too sure, even though you do see more depth, it looses focus.
Wow - I was looking at the photo wondering how you'd got the movement and focus - I try and look at the photo before I read the text. I've been meaning to try this challenge too - running out of time. Big fav - this is a fantastic use of the scanner
Hmmm, I like the colors and the comp. I'm not sure about the dof. Can you try to increase the resolution before scanning? I doubled mine from 300 dpi to 600 dpi (the highest).
Because someone else had done this, I decided to try it again. I'm curious at what dpi you set your image. @bill_fe Thanks for mentioning this. I went too high, I think. I like the 3-D effect the scanned images have.
Ik zou je niet kunnen helpen. Ik heb er een maar de inktpatronen zijn zo duur dat ik deze niet meer gebruikt. Fiets wel even naar de bieb als ik copieen nodig hebt. .
