Red on Green

Don't know what plant it is in the kitchen but it has one red leaf against the rest being green. Needed an easy post as I have driven to Bath and back to take eldest back to Uni. Not to bad but a really nasty accident on the M4, engines of, air ambulance and it looked like a police care was heavily involved. Anyway home safe and sound so took this quickly before I put my feet up.

It might be an arum lily, but I'm not sure. Lovely shine and colour.

Its in the family of ( Anthurium andraeanum ) or commonly known as Tail Flower Padlock. I think???

I've got one of these in my kitchen too. Can't remember the name tho. Horrid when you see things like that on the roads, it sort of lingers with you doesn't it? Glad you got there and back safely.

What lovely colors !!! Bright and happy. We an accident yesterday too...right after it happened. A motorcycle rider was being held and comforted by a passerby waiting for an ambulance. Very sad and I only hope he is okay. So hard to see those things. Glad you made it home safely.

Gorgeous colour! Ahhh, the Uni run...... fortunately Adam now has his own car and is house sharing as it is his last year, so driving and parking is no problem. Glad you got back home eventually.
