Taken today as I was shown around by the Community Ranger of this little oasis just on the edge of Potters Bar. Why was he there, simple reason I have volunteered as a Countryside Volunteer to help here as it is so local. Start on Tuesday for my first day and really looking forward to it. Plenty to do with hedges, fences etc all in need of repair. Will fill you in as I see and learn more.
@philcameron59 You got it, hard to park but it stretches quite away from both the roads. Some lovely old trees but boots needed as it is very wet at the moment.
An excellent form of volunteering. Getting out into the countryside, helping maintain it with plenty of exercise. Can't think of anything much better than that to keep you going.
Great job padlock...doing your bit for your area is wonderful. It will get you out & about & hopefully some photo ops too! Looks a great piece of green space.

Great shot! Love the ominous sky! My dad does something similar at an historical site near his house! He loves it...89 and still tending to the ferns!!

@taz_o Hi Tamzin, Thanks for that. I had an appointment in London this morning so went to it this afternoon. Wrap up warm, was well sign posted and have to say wasn't impressed overall. Will post my photo's later. Everybody i spoke to said that Sunday was the best day-not much help to the people that were there today!!!
