Well Mrs P is in Spain, only me and Baby P to please. So I thought I could be a rock star for however long I wanted. Paired the Gibson Les Paul "Swamp Ash" with a 100watt Marshall and in my eyes(perhaps ears that should be) you have sonic heaven at volume 11. It was that loud that Baby P asked me to turn it down-the big question is did I!!!!!!
I love the fact that your amp goes up to eleven! (Just like Spinal Tap). It's a bit much when the youngsters tell the adults to turn their music down because it is too loud though!
@steampowered How about revenge is sweet and as I am getting old as he tells me, had a case of selective hearing-plus ear plugs that he didn't see. Happy days annoying the young.
I'm away from the site for 24hrs and you get a bloomin' profile pic - that threw me! Just showed this to my son who spent most of the day sanding down an old guitar to re-paint, then most of this evening showing us photos of guitars that he is drooling over (the more battered looking the better by the looks of things.) He was most impressed at this but had to correct me when I thought that swamp ash was the model - oops!
@jantan Well thought the profile pic carried the theme. Have to say that the "worn" look is definitely in but I prefer to wear them myself. Good that he is going to paint an old guitar, at least their will be no other like it. Certainly can pay a lot for a piece of wood, bolts, cogs and other bits of metal.
