Yep the magpies etc don't like this feeder but the small birds do. Not very often we see the house sparrow's any more so was pleased with this capture, despite him throwing lots all over the place. Must remember to remove the cob webs for next time.
Oh he's a lovely house sparrow and like you, I'm always pleased to see them as there aren't too many about - nice shot and good that the squirrel guard keeps them free to get on with things. Also keeps the starlings out so I think I shall have to get one
