Yes I think he knows there is a branch in the way but he didn't tell me. It was brass monkey weather today for @pixiemac and I. But if you want to know how they cope you have to see them in all weathers. Snow and biting wind today for us.
The branch is so annoying but it was taken frozen hand held. Think the other male has been banished but not the perfect day for getting shots of the Kingfisher.
You must have picked the wrong site, I had almost a total absence of snow, a lull in the winds and a lovely bright sun. Quite a pleasat day while I was out, to be honest. Fav for your bravery.
