Waiting until dark to begin the movie and then showing a double feature has always made the employees and owners impatient to get the show going, so the previews begin before it is dark and if the first movie has a lot of dark scenes you miss some of the detail in the first half hour or so
@suek Oh yes! I love pizza at the drive in or anywhere. When I was a student in China and there was no pizza I missed it so much I was dreaming of the smell and taste of hot pizza
Yes ... I do remember that! But that was always fine with me, it seemed to be the whole experience of the "drive-in!" And the summer night air was so fabulous back then. Fun times. Great capture!!
ah, the old drive in. how lucky are you that you still have that. actually in the summer as part of a special fundraising, some communities would have something like this. i should make it a point to find where they are. or why don't i just go to california? very nice, dixie.
