No matter which road you take they all lead home. Know that now and it will make all the difference... then.

Tuesdays in this challenge are "around the neighborhood"
My camera fell out of my car after the drive-in movie and lay in the dew overnight and now every picture is blurry at the center. Moisture somewhere. Graduation is on Friday and I'm trying to decide if I can afford a new point and shoot camera.
lovely street lined with so many blossoms. you certainly live in a beautiful area, Dixie. i wonder if your camera will dry out, if given some time? but you only have a few days before such an important event.
Wonderful pov ... yes, all roads do lead to home! We just don't quite know that when we're young and eager to see the world. But then there's always that other statement. "You can't go home again!" (I'm smiling!) Love your colors and lighting, Dixie. It's possible that your camera might dry out with rice ... I can only see a little bit of that blur here. Good luck with it!
First about your camera. The rice thing might work or if you have it (I've tried this and it *does* work) take one of those little packets of dessicant that come in shoe boxes or with electronics and put it and your camera in a ziplock bag overnight. Will suck every last bit of moisture out of your camera. Try this before buying a new camera! My husband tried this with a cellphone that got drenched and it worked like a charm.
Two: Wow you live in such a lush area! I've been stuck in the midwest too long and am used to low-growing grasses along the road.
Pity about your camera - as suggested, put it in a ziplock with a couple of dessicant sachets. or some "rid damp" in a small cotton bag. Probably some damp on her the sensor or the back of the lens by the look of it.
Your lane looks really lush
Oh I"m so sorry to hear about your camera. I know my little Canon Powershot A560 was probably quite affordable since my children gave it to me as a gift. There may be others out there that do a decent job too. And even some of those camera phones do a great job, so I hope you find an affordable solution to your graduation needs. In the meantime, you've got a lovely street that leads to your home!
@catsmeowb@sarasdadandmom@scrappy@karenann@hoosierhokie@georgews@olivetreeann Thanks for the suggestions, I tried the camera in a bowl of dry rice and it helped I think, the only problem was that a little chip of a rice grain got in beside the power button and wedged it in place and I finally dug that out with a needle.
it looks dreamy. it's like in one of those vignettes in a movie where a narrator talks in the background while the camera is panning towards the house. hey, i think i so ready for that writing retreat tomorrow, my imagination is on overdrive! wonderful shot, dixie.
