still in my yard, but inside the "Grotto" which is my husbands name for a circle of plum and redwood trees where the inside stays dark and dandelions give way to ferns and ivy and bitter sorrel. My kids used the rope swing which has a board seat with one rope through the center and is on the trunk just left of the Ivy

i love this. i love ivies that crawl all over. i'm imagining a swing, those with a nice table and netting, right in the middle of that grotto and i can sit there for hours with my notebook and a small mp3 with classical music.
