The two top pictures are my boys and each has his child directly beneath.
I always said my boys only looked alike at three months, but there is no blood connection between them so that isn't truly surprising. But then their kids did the same, plumped up, lost the baby fuzz.
most definitely - i find it so amazing how children seem be so much like their parents, a little bit of mom, a little bit of dad, and over the years lean a bit this way and that but always have a tendency to look more like one than the other. does that make sense?
well, dogs and their owners look alike after a while ... certainly no blood ocnnection there. So and neither do married couples. In any event, these are lovely pictures
@francoise the theory I heard on married couples is that we look for a partner who reminds us of our parent, trying to replicate our closest connection. Not sure I believe it but it kind of explains spouses ending up looking like siblings
Sweet! The same thing has happened with my father, Christopher (2nd son) and his son Micah. The similarities at certain ages are uncanny. But then we do have a blood connection there.
