Driving home through the canyon last night and it was rainy and dark of course. Came around a blind corner to a little grey truck sitting sideways across the lane with its wheels leaning into the truck body and the rear end up against the hill. We pulled into the other lane to avoid it and passed a small white car, pulled in behind another pickup and turned on our flashers. The man in front of us and I had no service on our phones but Greg had one bar and walked back to see if there was anyone in the truck, and then up around the corner to try and get enough service to call 911. The white car pulled out and left, with the driver of the truck in it! Leaving it there in the dark. Greg stayed back and waved cars down and I stayed in front with our flashers going but there was no shoulder to pull off on. Took 28 minutes before help arrived and we were there 45 minutes but no one was hurt.
merry Christmas, dixie, and all the best for 2019!
