So this morning she comes in with her iPad in hand and slides it under the covers on my bed after I’d just made the bed. She left and came back with a flashlight and started looking in grandpa’s closet and then on her knees under the bed. “What are you looking for?”
“My ipad?”
It’s in my bed.
“I’m not sure it’s there, grandma. I have to look.”
Then from under the bed I hear, “what color wrapping paper are you using this Christmas?”
Um, I haven’t wrapped anything yet.
“But then how do I know what is a present?”
Ok, girl. I think you need to stay out of my room until after Christmas.
A head appears, “you are not saying that for real?”
