I’m not one who thinks of myself as religious, although I was raised loving Christ and the stories of kindness and compassion, “let the little children come forth” or “the Good Samaritan.” Then I went through my atheist and my pagan stages and gradually decided to label myself as spiritual, definitely not the same thing as some of my more immovable relatives.
In self exploration and for fun, I’m going to use the #SacredSeptember and see where it leads me.

Weird how I also associate a certain kind of religiosity with being immovable ... and proud of it, the kind of people that you can't really talk with about religion or god or anything spiritual because they start at the top like cult members and start comparing everything that is said to a pre-determined and pre-existing set of thoughts that they call "belief" and "faith."
