Since he was born, my oldest son has pretended to hunt, and he has gone fishing since he could walk, and he had duck hunted and now after three hunting seasons of effort, on the last day of the season this year, he got his first buck. He was thrilled and though I'm not a hunter, I'm a Mom and seeing him this happy made me happy - even though I love the deer and elk around here
I know the feeling! My older son hunts as well. But the good thing is that Becky and he eat the meat so nothing goes to waste (and there are no deer heads hanging on the wall!).
