lighting the recovery

the boats are safely in the harbor for the night, as they were when we got word the tsunami had hit Japan. Safe in harbor is a bad idea during a tsunami, and only the boats that didn't make it out to the relatively gentle swells at sea, were destroyed when the harbor began filling and emptying in 10 minute intervals, like being flushed repeatedly.
Safe for tonight then and hopefully there will never be another tsunami that destroys your harbor again.

This is a very bright light and would probably be on all night! After your posting yesterday, I spent some time on uTube viewing old footage of the Tsunami! Horrible but fascinating!

@maggiemae it is fascinating, but when the schools teach the tsunami drills and the so called safe zones, I keep thinking of the Japan tsunami destroying places 4 miles inland and realizing that our estimates, based on previous history could be way below where the rising seas can go

@olivetreeann a lot of changes they have implemented lead them to call it a tsunami proof harbor, but that seems like an invitation to the forces that be to laugh in their face

@pandorasecho True! As much as we like to think we can, no human is capable of taming nature.
