Heart mountain is a strange mountain. It is upside down. The oldest layers of rock are on the top. It looks like a Sioux chief to me and to other people but we don’t see it the same, which I never realized until we illustrated how we see it. To me his head is on the West, and resting in a war bonnet on his back with his knees up. To my friend it is only the head, my “knees” are his nose and my forehead is his chin.
