This is it! I can't believe vacations are over! 3 weeks ago I thought my challenge was to find different things to photograph. I don't know if I did it well but I know I had more than one picture to upload each day! I took many pictures that I didn't expect and didn't photograph a lot of things I had thought of. There's a little post on my blog with few different ones. Here is the link http://tinyurl.com/3xf6pgl.
For our last day of vacations, we went to a wood festival in a beautiful village named Urcel near Laon (in the department of Aisne). We discovered it and loved it. Unfortunately the weather was cloudy and rainy but I'm sure it's gorgeous on a sunny day. I hardly pick one picture for this project, so if you're interested there are more here: http://tinyurl.com/32f37cc
It's typically French because for those who don't recognize it, on the door it's a bag for baguettes! And I can't stop thinking how lovely this scene might have been on a sunny day with all the roses in bloom...
Living between Paris and the countryside, love taking pictures, a lot of pictures...
Publish different ones from this project on my blog.

I checked out your other photos, one word awesome. I loved them all. What's with the one with the string/web over the water. What is that? Very interesting.
@ Vicky it's landscape art... great no? my picture is not very good but with the rain I could't take my time and lay down on the grass to have a better capture!
I love intricate doorways like this. They hold so much mystery and promise. When you said wood festival, I didn't know what you meant but when I looked at your other photos I loved the scenes of the wood pile and the landscape. Thanks for sharing!
This is so charmingly French! And the rest of your photos! They're just wonderful...*really* beautiful! Yes, the one of the "landscape" art caught my eye as it reminded me of the work of Andy Goldsworthy. And I loved the woodpile...how creative! The huge stone building with the flowers in front...just gorgeous! You've got wonderful vacation memories!
