... except after vacations when I think it's gray, noisy, stressful, stinking, ugly, crowded, speed, full of beggars... Tomorrow I must stroll in a calm neighborhood that I really like to be in love again!
Living between Paris and the countryside, love taking pictures, a lot of pictures...
Publish different ones from this project on my blog.

I like this pic. Not sure why but like it. Paris was a real suprise to me. Catacombes, and the eiffel tower light show, metro were my highlights. :)
Notre Dame was a lot smaller that I expected it to be but then again so was stone henge :)
I like the angles and the black and white. I like the idea of "Paris", but i'm sure I'd find the good and the bad, just like everywhere. But certainly, there are some places I love more than others.
Lovely photo. I love Paris. In fact a little bit of me may actually be IN love with Paris :) Next year, I have got to go back. I do understand what you mean though Helene, like everywhere there are pros and cons :)
I love Paris too, and understand what it is like returning to a city after a holiday in the country. This photo has a wonderful side street feel to it of a big city.
This is beautiful! I wish I could be there. You asked how I got the colors in my photo. My original was pretty vibrant, but I also edited it a bit with with photoshop Elements. I used a gaussian blur layer with multipy. Then levels layer with screen. Adjusted the hue/saturation. Then, I think I did a little bit of dodge and burn.
This is a great shot, Helene. Can I see a coat of arms on that bridge or are my eyes playing up again? The building behind looks interesting, too with all those chimney pots.
merci for your nice comments. @ Robin Good eyes, yes I think it's Paris's arms (if I understood well your question).... here is a closer view http://twitpic.com/2jzb4q
cool b&w shot. can't beat the serenity of the countryside, but cities have their good points, too. and i know you'll remember the ones in Paris again. ;-)
