This picture was taken from the Museum of Decorative Arts where we were for an exhibition's inauguration. I love the view of the Eiffel Tower, le Grand Palais, la Défense, la rue de Rivoli and les Tuileries. It's not very clear because it was taken behind very dirty glass but I rather not do photoshop.
Living between Paris and the countryside, love taking pictures, a lot of pictures...
Publish different ones from this project on my blog.
You can also...
beautiful, Helene! there's so much to see in this picture - they sky, the eiffel tower, the traffic (all the red brake lights). Is les Tuileries in the middle background?
Beautiful vista, Helene! And no mistaking the location, with that tiny Eiffel Tower in the distance. I agree with Constance... your photos make me want to visit Paris again, also!
@janeterry Palais de Tokyo is near the Trocadero (took pictures there 2 weeks ago, it's on my calendar!) and this is in the Louvre bulding. But yes I've been there and you're right nice modern art... very modern!!! :)
I really like the busy stretch of road to the right, sitting next to the Old Paris which hasn't changed in hundreds of years, kinda like the past and the present meeting.
i love the view of the eiffel tower as well, and those sparkly lights on the right. i can just imagine when the whole city is sparkling! it's a sight i hope to see at least once :)
