Manual Labor

Today began the re-roofing of some of the bungalows in my courtyard. Much noise and commotion as I was trying to catch up on sleep this morning. Once I rolled out of bed and peeked out the window, they were in full swing.(I also knew I had my pic for the day)

That is back breaking work and to top it off, it was 102° out there. I believe that's 38.8 for you celsius folk.
I was surprised to see how bundled up they were...long sleeved t-shirts with a short sleeved t-shirt over that, hats and bandanas. I understand everything but the extra t-shirt on top.

Every once in a while, one of them would burst into a Spanish song. I know for a fact, I wouldn't be in the mood to sing while doing that kind of work in that kind of heat.
They are stronger men than I.
Think about how the Bedouins dress in the Sahara. Layer upon layer. Sweat to stay cool.

Nice capture of these men at work. @webfoot Agree with Paul; they know how to dress for the heat.
