Bright Copper Kettles

Wasn't sure how to approach this one. Ultimately I grabbed some of my natural decor items and started shooting. I'm not sure how I feel about the window in the background. At first, it really bothered me, then I decided it was better than a plain blank wall.

But there is copper and it's bright!
I think the window is good - gives it a lot of depth. Just about a selfie in the well polished copper!! I like it

I am so impressed with your skills already in finding the elements. I got stopped last year by the whiskers on kittens and just kind of gave up! I am so excited to see the rest! You have done very well so far! this shot is no exception!

Thank you all for the feedback. And I have come to agree about the window. At first it was an intrusion to me, simply because I had nowhere else to stage the shot and the window was 'in the way'. But now I do think it adds balance.

Window is very good in this shot. As others have noticed, it gives the shot some depth.

Agreed that the window is not an obtrusive element at all! Why don't you play around with it more and maybe even include MORE of the window?

BTW: the acorns on the shelf next to the copper kettle really make the shot for me!
