I dashed out to try and see the post-parade float exhibit. They sure don't make it easy. I haven't been since I was a kid, but I think it used to be free...it was for me anyway, maybe my sister paid my way. LOL
Now parking costs, seeing the floats costs and it was really crowded, so I admitted defeat and headed off toward a trail near the Rose Bowl.
The blimp had been circling ALLLLLL day and I hoped to get an interesting shot. It took some time, but I think I succeeded despite the lighting. That is the Colorado Blvd bridge, and in the distance through the arch, you can see the Ventura Fwy
It's best viewed large.
I took a clearer shot from my upstairs window, but I liked the composition of this one better. Gee, it's good that I have extra albums. ;-)

No parade for this girl. I've lived about 5 blocks from the route for roughly 15 years and I haven't trekked out to see it yet. I'm not a morning person. LOL Can't even keep my eyes open long enough to watch it from bed on TV. Maybe next year. ;-)
