I dashed out the door, heading for work, with bleak hopes for getting a decent shot today. I didn't even have my good old stand-by's of the parking lot roses as a possibility, as they've been pruned in the past couple of weeks.
Woe is me, was my lament.
BUT....I walked back out into the parking lot about half an hour after I got to work, and was greeted by THIS!
I didn't have my camera on me so I grabbed my trusty phone and started snapping. It was a full rainbow, but the 'scenery' to the left isn't exactly attractive. The building is the County Hospital.
It's not the most stunning rainbow shot ever seen, but it sure pulled my tush out of the fire. LOL
Nice catch! Rainbows are so magical! The hospital looks so small. It's funny because I drove past it the other day and thought to myself that I really need to spend some time taking shots of that place...not only was I born there, but I had family who lived in that neighborhood and so I spent a great deal of time there during my childhood!
