Arggghhhh! Sometimes the shots you think are good, look like crud when you get home and see them on the big screen. This is one such shot. I like the composition, but damn the focus sucks.
I love the colors! I also feel your pain! It has happened to me too many times to remember! I'm still trying to figure out why too! I know I am doing something wrong! I just don't know what! This is not so much out of focus asit has a VERY shallow DOF! ;~} It is all about rationalization!
Hehehe I'm laughing because that happened to me earlier today.... I took some action shots of my dog and I thought they looked great on the view finder and then I put them on my computer and ...... complete crap..... :(
But I think this one is very beautiful. I love the DOF and dark background. And the soft colors on this plant are so lovely :)
