Ready for Occupancy

Thank you all so much for the kind comments and Favs on yesterday's Iris.
I am struggling so much with this project right now, mostly because it's very difficult for me to find an opportunity to shoot with variety on work days. So I shift into 'automatic mode' and head for The Garden to shoot a flower or if I'm lucky, a lizard.

I'm so tired of that approach, and it's getting me down. As I write this, it's April 20th and I'm over a week behind in posting in my album, not to mention being nearly a month behind in looking at all your lovely photos. Is this project supposed to consume your life like this? Good Lord! LOL
I now have a three day weekend and will try to get out from under this backlog of photos, and hopefully find light at the end of the tunnel.

Today's shot is just a cute little bird house in The Garden.
Hell, I had to shoot SOMETHING. ;-)
LOL! How cute!!! Wonderful ligh and composition.
Please don;t stress yourself over this project. It is supposed to be fun. While we all often get in a slump too if it becomes a burden then you need to stop. Mind you I would hate not seeing your fabulous photos but I don't want you to stress about it either.

Aw, don't beat yourself up.. no-one's making you do this if it's not fun any more... why not resort to a few phone photos for a while (have you got an iphone?), take a bit of a backseat and then come back to us. Your humour and irrepressible spirit are such fun to have around.

Wow! I have never seen such an elaborate bird house! Oh my...I know the feeling! Don't quit! I love your floral shots... You have a great eye and I always enjoy your point of view (POV). I try to take nice floral/flower shots but they are never as beautiful as yours.

What a cute bird house. Love it. This is in your yard? Wow, you have a nice yard. I know too well how time consuming this is and agree with you. I was so far behind on things here at home then so many Dr appointments and having to rest and taking it slow put me so far behind before I knew it. Do not stress over this project and enjoy it. I had to let it go and will just do what I can when I can. It is not ruling my life as it cannot. But it is addicting as I look at photos and post some of mine now. Time flies right by when I am on this site. Shoot, I was gone so long that I had to sign in yesterday to post and comment. Lucky I had my username and password handy. lol

Thanks so much for your encouraging comments. It's just my own personal goal to post a daily shot, so it's self imposed stress. LOL Once my year is up, I will relax and post as the whim suits me.

@darsphotos
No this isn't in my yard. It's in a public garden in Pasadena called Arlington Garden. Most of my flower and lizard shots are from there. Whenever you see me refer to The Garden, The Nature Garden, or My Garden (I've become a bit possessive of it), it's actually Arlington.
I'm glad you were able to log back in after the website timed you out. I've had the same thing happen on different sites over the years. I feel a little panic stricken until I locate the needed info to log in. LOL
