I've been wanting to stop here for the longest time, and then I waited too long. There used to be the coolest blue fly in front of the house that you see behind the dragonfly. I know he was there earlier this month, but now that I'm here with a ready camera, he's gone. Maybe the sculptor sold him? I hated to see him go, but it would be great if the artist is making some money on these cool creations. There's another insect to the right of this one, but the background is so cluttered that it didn't make for a good photo.
I was able to zoom in on the web address on the plaque, but the address turns up dead for me. A Google search found other references to Lt MustardSeed. It's a WOMAN! That surprised me.
If you view large, you should be able to see the mirrored balls that serve as the dragonfly's eyes. I love the creativity.
Wow, This is wonderful! Love the eyes, colors and wings! He is so tall! So glad you captured this before he sells it. Hopefully he will make more.
