Watching a playoff game this afternoon. This is Detroit Lions vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Detroit did not score on this play but two plays later they did to make 17-10 in their favor. This is the 2nd round of the playoffs.
Out local team, Pittsburgh Steelers, didn’t make it past the first round of the playoffs. I have no favorite in the remaining teams.
@ludwigsdiana American football has its roots in Rugby but has evolved to its present form over the many years it’s been played. We are currently in the playoffs. Four teams remaining. The winners next weekend will play for the national championship in what is called “The Super Bowl”
BTW, Detroit won this game. They will play San Francisco this coming weekend. The other two teams are Baltimore and Kansas City.
