We moved the bird feeders off of the deck this year because I got tired of cleaning up their mess and the damage being done to the lawn below the deck. The turkeys and squirrels were tearing it up looking for stray seeds.
I had to remove the basin from the stand of the bird bath because the squirrel could jump from it to the feeders bypassing the baffle. Since then squirrel has been stymied by the baffle. I figure its only a matter of time however before they find a way.
