@sarie pushed me to take photos of people have gone with the @megsy & @northy technique and used the telephoto. Why do people push me to take photos of people?
Well, if I was into taking shots of people I'd be using my telephoto too. I was at the Falmouth, Ma Rotary Antique and Craft FAir. beautiful spot right on Falmouth , MA Harbor. I love this duet you have created. Wonder how heavy the chess pieces were? Great take.
i love this street shot... it is a really brilliant capture of concentration on the game... however, just so you know, i very rarely use a telephoto for street... mostly my 17-85 and last week it was all my prime 50... my biggest complaint about the prime is that it doesn't give me a wide enough angle :) admittedly, i'm usually at a distance from my subjects - i guess i would argue that my approach to street is slightly different from @megsy because i tend to focus less on the individuals and more on the surroundings... :)
Lots going on in this fantastic street capture, Peter. the man with the man standing is concentrating hard on his next move, the man sitting behind his wishes he hadn't just pooped in his undies...
I love the focus and concentration the gentleman has on his face. I would LOVE to see one of these big chess boards. I'm going to have to see if we have one around here.
Wonderful candid shot Peter!! I like the deep thought expression on this man's face!!
Is this large game pieces chess set for the visually impaired? (:
