Great all around photograph Peter! Freezing the remnants of the wave in the sand has the illusion of a glass-like surface. The color of his shirt compliments the lighter colors in the sky and reflection. Well done!!

@islawight Thanks for drawing my attention to this but was not inspiration. Was with son at beach, who believes it is not a photo unless it has someone in it, and was experimenting with extended shutter releases and portraits. I can see the parallel except rather than a statue which is motionless of itself, this required a human subject to remain motionless in a moving world
