That's the word. Very well processed Peter! With 'almost fake' I meant those awful HDR shots. But those are obviously more realistic than I could imagine.
@mastermek lol, so in a way you're saying that it's ok to look almost fake and awful as long it is not caused by HDR software ? ;-) And I am definitely not saying this shot is awful, on the contrary I find it very cool and interesting and it is a great example that processing does not have to include any kind of software. Also would love to hear what SOOC purists would say about this :-D
@janim Haha. Yes. That's what I said. But it's not exactly what I meant. Your recap is more like it :-) The processing did indeed remind me of all HDR's swirling around because the HDR filters produce a similar effect. Overloaded by the amount of unnatural looking landscapes and being 'digitalized' myself, I forgot about 'the real thing' and what can be achieved the analog way.
