Nuts and Bolts

The subject of this photo is the base of a huge power line pole in the desert near my home. I have passed it many times before but have never looked closely. Well, thanks to the 365 Project, my eyes were open today. I love the layers of color and texture as well as those giant nuts and bolts.

Very nice, love the bolts and the texture of the rust. Would have loved to see a shot with only the upper half and more rust over the bolts.

@primitiveprobe Thank you for the comment, Andreas. I did take one focusing on the bolts. I liked it a lot, too and debated which to post. Just upgraded to "Ace" so I think I can put it in an extra file.
