High Flying

My camera and I had fun exploring the state fair this week. I loved the stopped action and bright colors in this image. I appreciated that all the riders lined up nicely and even coordinated their colors for me!

Love this Lisa. These rides are quite surreal to look at how the people swing out so far. I've never seen one but I've lived a sheltered life, lol... I had my first ever ride on a carousel last year in the US.

Incredible image Lisa! I love how you composed this and your perspective! It seems like there might be a touch of HDR here which really makes the colors pop and nicely bring out the details around the edges! I am adding my fav! @rmkgreene Hi Ruth, thank you so much for taking the time to view my photos. I took a lot of shots aiming up at the riders as they rushed by. I set my shutter speed to 1/2000 to try to stop the action. When I processed it in LR, I had to brighten up the shadows because the area under the top of the ride was a bit dark. Lucky for me, all the riders had colors of clothes that just worked well with the image. Thanks again for your comment and fav!
