Golden Glauce, also known as rain of gold and golden showers. It's a survivor, it has to be considering its nick name. I got it free from the trash at Walmart about 7 years ago. It was mostly dead and about 5 inches tall. It is adjusting to it's most recent transplant. Standing at 4 feet now and blooming, she is one of my favorites. Thankfully, she doesn't smell like a golden shower, 😉
@darchibald as did mine. When I was younger, I often said, 'why do people take something beautiful and make it yucky?'. The plant is offended and is not happy with the appropriation of the term. It says everything was fine until the 1940s. 😉
