Kananook Creek runs a little way parallel to the Port Phillip coastline before running into Port Phillip Bay at Frankston foreshore. I thought the reflections were quite pretty this afternoon. There are some homes adjacent to the creek with their cute little "jetties" backing into it. Many people canoe up and down this creek for recreation.
wow you have made kananook look stunning! I lived on gould st about 20 years ago backed onto this, and the smell was awful. its like its not even the same place, love it
Looks like a painting of the European countryside from a couple of centuries ago. I really like the verdant feeling from all those lovely green trees in the background. Really nice, fav!
@trailertrash. Hi Teddles - very glad that I was able to transform Kananook Creek for you - and that you liked the shot! Many thanks for your comments! :)
Hi Christy Having only discovered the beauty of fine art and painting a few years ago (I wished I'd realised a lot earlier!) you have paid me a compliment of the highest order! (Oh why didn't I go to the Dutch Masters exhibition when it came to Melbourne!) Thank you for your lovely comments on this shot! :)
Nice capture, like the reflections, Kananook Creek is quite pretty these days - usually park near here when we go to our favourite Thai restaurant in Frankston,
