View from Warton Crag

absolutely one of our favourite places to walk up, it has amazing views all around whatever the weather. this view is looking towards grange over sands which is nearly in view through the rain. the salt marshes are below with the Eric Morecambe hides and the nice outcrop of limestone which is what we are standing on.
What an amazing view with a great combination of rocks, water and sky. You can see a very long way into the distance.

@pennystot thank you , when it is clear you can see for miles to the lighthouses near walney island, roa island and piel island and the gas platforms in the bay and further south you can also see Blackpool tower

@gigiflower oh it is Sam, i will post one in the future, just got to wait for a sunny day!!
@ceilidh @snowy @yogisue @ninaganci thank you, the crag is riddled with footpaths, our kids loved it and as we returned downhill through the woods they would play robin hood leaping and hiding amongst the trees
