absolutely one of our favourite places to walk up, it has amazing views all around whatever the weather. this view is looking towards grange over sands which is nearly in view through the rain. the salt marshes are below with the Eric Morecambe hides and the nice outcrop of limestone which is what we are standing on.
@pennystot thank you , when it is clear you can see for miles to the lighthouses near walney island, roa island and piel island and the gas platforms in the bay and further south you can also see Blackpool tower
What a beautiful photo Linda, It looks like the horizon goes on forever. I can tell why it is yoru favourite place for walks. You captured the rain perfectly
