quicksands, channels, fast moving tides, we have it all. I have seen the roof of a car around this area before and it has been there for ages - just sunk so far and stayed as a monument to say do not drive on the sands.

@ceilidh @pennystot well, people are still always being rescued, they have a special hovercraft lifeboat and have to pump air and water into the sand to release people, that is if they get there in time. This area is where the Chinese cockle pickers died a few years ago
