the council has been spending my money again and did not ask my permission. why we need a platform I am not sure. apparently it is for people to use for performances. I have not seen one yet! Although I am glad to see that it is being used for seating . It does have some redeeming features around the sides there are indications of the towns history. It also replaces a grotty fountain which was regularly dosed by someone with washing up liquid which rendered it useless.
Interesting to see what they have done with that space...it looks rather odd Linda....surely it will only be used for sitting on & sunbathing by the students in the summer. The fountain was a great centre point but agree it was used for all the wrong things.

Our council keeps playing around with roundabouts and traffic signals,which were fine until they messed about and caused more accidents.They just want to spend unnecessary money!!
