At last - I too have been struck by Olympic fever and have thoroughly enjoyed watching some events over the last couple of days. Well done Team GB on your 29 gold, 17 silver and 19 bronze medals!

@dalboy @shannew @gillymacc @gnilrets I know a lot of people who thought "what's all the fuss about - it won't effect me" and were then totally hooked on the excitment of it all! I read that the mascots are based on drops of steel caused in the process of making girders for the stadiums! Thanks for the lovely comments for this simple snap though ;-)
