I am jealous. How do you get that soft, almost hazy, quality in your images? Looks amazing.

This is lovely. What lens gets an f 1.4?! It doe the trick.
Sadly, I guess I have household chores on the mind ( feeling guilty I don't clean enough) because to me, I see window blinds and "futility" and I think "Yes...trying to keep blinds dusted is futile." really..I thought that. ugh. Good shot!

@espyetta Thanks! :) lol that reminds me... these blinds probably need dusting!! It's the Canon 50mm f/1.4 prime... beautiful lens :)

@pocketmouse Thanks for the info...I have seen so many people on here loving theirs. I wanted a dedicated macro lens as I do so much of that, but now I am wondering if I should not get a 50 mm instead? Because in my "real life" conditions, I do most of my "macros" with my 55-250....because the bug is flying around, or far off and I cannot get close to it, or if I did get close, it would fly away or act differently. So I think I may take the money and get a 50mm one day....

@pocketmouse psssst! we cannot see any dust on the blinds...so it is our little secret.
