Holly my cat happen to have this spot of light shining on the side of her face. I felt it tied in perfectly with my husband's painting of the Lighthouse with the spotlight at the top.
My processing it in B&W unified the two images, unfortunately I had to sacrifice her beautiful blue eyes. Oh Well......she's still beautiful in my eyes!!
This is a gorgeous capture, both of Holly and of the part of your husband's beautiful painting which we can see. Is that a bit of selective colour I see on the top of the lighthouse?
You all mega-talented in your household then? Even the cat looks like she's just returned from a shoot at some Hollywood studio! Superb shot Miss Islandgirl (I know you're married, but Mrs Islandgirl just doesn't have the same ring to it!)
What a wonderful capture - it's perfect in b&w - that cat is gorgeous. And I love your husband's painting of the lighthouse - that touch of red at the top is delightful.
