Found on one of the back concessions, I can just imagine the teacher ringing the hand held bell for the kids to come in.
Had some technical issues taking this shot. It was raining I wanted to stay low to the ground to get the fence post in which meant angling the camera upwards. As you can see rain drops formed on the lens, any helpful suggestions?
Thank you for stopping by, hope your enjoying your weekend.
Neat find. Wonder how old this is. Looks like a one room schoolhouse.
Love the composition and POV. Fav. In addition to Poppo's suggestion :) @terryliv you might get a lense hood.
@terryliv thanks Terry thanks for the great advice waited all winter for shots like these..............remember these words of wisdom next week in Vancouver !! Ha ha
@kathiecb yes Kathie this is a one room schoolhouse that probably closed in the 50's, as for a lens hood not sure if that would work as I was down low and pointing the camera up! Oh well a few raindrops never hurt anything!
Old buildings like this just beg to be photographed, in my opinion. Bet there's some amazing shots to be taken on the inside as well. There's some sort of wildlife in the background, yes? Cows? Deer? Or maybe I'm just seeing things.
The pov was perfect for this shot - and as long as it didn't bother your camera, it sure didn't bother your shot. Really neat old building - says so much about our history - they really had so much character.
LOve your pov and composition, fav for me. A lens hood can help with the rain, but if the lens in pointing up towards the sky, at the right angle, the rain can still get onto the lens.
Love this shot - fav. Really like the detail of the fence and the grasses too. I have taken an umbrella out to shoot on rainy days, even just holding a bag or something over top for a quick shot works too.
