Ice Mounds

The ice on the lake right now is basically heavy slush, when the winds pick up the ice starts mounding up along the shoreline, to heights of 8 to 10 feet. It's interesting to sit and listen to the crunching sound of the ice as it is constantly moving. The air temperature is much warmer than the ice on the lake so this results in heavy fog rolling in off the lake.

@vignouse It really is neat to watch the ice being pushed up onto the shore. The actually air temperature today was 17 degrees C.
