Sunflower

This is a dried sunflower left standing in my garden from last summer. I liked it's almost silhouette effect against the white clouds.
This is for the first fortnight challenge, B&W Garden.

Almost hard to believe this was once a sunflower. Dried and tired like this, it rather looks monstrous, evil. And I'll confess to wondering for a second if that wasn't a chameleon sitting on top. Yes, I know, weird thought I had there. B&W was a good way to go with this image.

Great in black and white. I will show this to Jen....sunflowers are her favorite. She grew more than 5 types.
