On my way to my photography workshop I discovered this family of bears crossing the road in front of me. They scampered up the rocks the cubs no larger than dog pups. Mama bear stood guard, ordered the cubs into the bush and she remained on guard for about 15 minutes, at which point she started coming down toward my vehicle. Time for me to leave!!! What an incredible sight. It wasn't the only bear I came across on this trip and it wasn't the only large animal either. Hope to share more in the next few days.
Thanks for dropping by, I will be behind with my comments for the next few days while in my photography workshop.
@eyesmile yes this a common occurrence in Norther Ontario we even have them in our backyard! Fortunately not often!
But on our drive through northern Ontario we saw 7 moose, 3 bears and 3 cubs, it is the wilderness here and you thought we only had snow here! :)?
