Tenacious

Truly amazing how this pine found a spot in what appears to be solid granite to grow. The contrast can be made at several levels, the softness of the pine and the hardness of the rock, the pine lasting 30 to 50 years, the rock unchanging.

I really appreciate your comments and favs on my series of lichen shots, I enjoyed taking them.
