I'm so moved by this image! Having been away a month and thinking constantly about the changes taking place up there, I see this and can hardly wait to arrive back in my Heart Home on Wednesday! Pam Knowler is coming to visit, and I hope there's a lot of beauty in the trees for us to photograph! Thanks for tugging at the heartstrings with this one!

I hope we get colors- folks have been saying since it was so dry this summer we won't have them. But it's cooled off considerably and has rained on and off for two days, so maybe we'll get some after all. I really like this shot- the color of the leaf against the rich earth is really appealing and your title is perfect!
