This is one of the few silver mine headframes still around, it is over 100 years old. I'm not sure it will survive the winter, you can see the pieces of timber dangling from the headframe! You can feel the spirits of the past while standing beside it.

Super silhouette shot. The sky cooperated and gave you an excellent backdrop as well. Maybe it'll be an easy winter and this piece of history will survive a while longer.
Very interesting link. If I understand correctly it was silver mining? I can totally understand why you'd want to preserve these head frames - each one could tell a few stories, I bet! I hope this one isn't left to go to rack and ruin and that someone manages to preserve it. Lovely silhouetted image.
